Abraham “Puhipau” Ahmad Jr., 78, of Naalehu died Feb. 9. Born in Hilo, he was a Hawaiian Kingdom patriot, documentary filmmaker with Na Maka o ka ‘Aina dedicated to enlightening the world about Hawaiian history, sovereignty and aloha ‘aina, and member of Kamehameha Schools class of 1955.
